The Naked Racist

Claire and I headed to the glorious surroundings of Burnley Mechanics club last night, to see Phil Nichol’s Naked Racist tour.

We stumbled across the show mainly by luck, and the deal was cemented on the recommendation of the comedy listings in the Times.

By a weird coincidence it turns out that we’d already seen Phil Nichol before at one of the HiFi comedy nights last year, both of us were oblivious to the fact until we sat down in the bar waiting for the show to start and the name popped in to my head.
Being honest its very hard to forgot Nichol, the guy is loud, intense and evidently loves to perform, think comedy on speed! Its therefore not much of a suprise to learn that the Naked Racist was the 2006: Winner of the if.comeddie Award.

Expect alot of humour and to lose a piece of clothing before the show has finished!
