Its been a while……

I guess by now alot of people have totally given up on the fact I was ever going to publish anything on the web. After all in the past 5 years of having a web presence I’ve clearly done nothing with it at all, other than have a holding page up saying something was coming soon.

Well here it is.

Being honest the 4 1/2 years delay was due to me wanting to sit down and write a bespoke application to do this. The application went from ASP > C# > PHP (4 & 5) and then to Ruby. The remaining delay boiled down to me having to install Wordpress on my web hosting account.

One word of advice, any one as lazy as me should look at Dreamhost’s one click installs. You’ve got them to thank for this!

My main intention is to use this as a working repository of ideas, links and general musings of an open source web developer. Feel free to get in contact, or leave (in)appropriate comments.
