Gilles Peterson Worldwide

I’ve been a great fan of Gilles Peterson ever since hearing the Incredible Sound of Gilles Peterson.Being a straight up house head at the time, I found the jazz a little inaccesible but after seeing Gilles at the Southport Weekender many moons ago, I was a convert and have listened to his worldwide show religiously ever since.

I’ve always thought that for such a clued up guy it seems strange he’s never set up his own dedicated site, but it turns out I’m well behind the times, the unstoppable Mr Peterson is now online.

I caught the old Gilles Peterson back in Brasil series of podcasts, but now he’s brought it all under one roof in addition to his existing Radio 1 show on Sunday night.

I can’t help but wonder if Gilles ever has an off day. I’ve heard some stunning artists coming from his Brownswood label at the moment like Ben Westbeech, Heritage Orchestra.

Surely Ben Westbeech’s ‘So Good Today’ has got to be track of the summer?
