But I'm really glad it provided you with some entertainment as well. I've got to admit I really enjoyed the Trot and will be doing it again next year. Albeit it not 20 minutes after the start. I too did the Trot this year, I was also a late starter and it was also my first ever race of this distance (first ever race at all, in fact). I know how you felt with that headwind at the end - running those last three miles was one of the toughest tests of grit I've ever had!
